Since my oldest daughter is entering 1st grade this fall I’ve decided it’s time to do away with all our sippy cups. Plus, I’ve been getting rid of plastic in other areas of our kitchen so it seemed like the right time to upgrade the kids’ items as well. I wasn’t quite ready to start letting our daughters use the “adult” glass cups though since we keep them in a cabinet they can’t reach, and they
seem rather “breakable” anyway. So I was thrilled when I learned about these kid-friendly glass tumblers that are extremely durable and chip resistant. They are the perfect solution!
I put these stackable glass cups in a big drawer that my daughters can reach, and they LOVE getting out their own cups and filling them up with water all by themselves. My four-year-old is graduating from sippy cups a little early, but she is probably the most excited. The first night she used one I think she told me a dozen times that her cup was “breakable” just like mommy’s. And since the glass is durable and tempered I don’t worry too much about it actually breaking. Although I was sure to tell them if they did accidentally break a glass not to move an inch until I came to the rescue! So far these cups seem pretty kid-proof though so I’m thrilled to be giving away a set to one lucky winner today.

I have two children – toddler/preschool age – ’nuff said!
I’m a FB Fan, too.
I’ve been considering ditching the sippy cups for my girls, too. The more I read about plastic, and the more I hear about how sippy cups are bad for teeth, the more I want to get rid of them. Thanks for doing this give away.
I’d love to get these–we don’t use sippies anymore (at least not until the next kid) but we use IKEA’s plastic children’s cups. I would love to move away from using plastic entirely, mostly because it wears out and glass can last forever! (I mean, my grandmother still has the little glass juice cups her kids used as children).
I love using glass storage containers…it only makes since to use glass for my daughter too. All the recent talk regarding heating and freezing in plastic containers has me switching a lot of things to glass. I would love to win
!
I want them for exactly the same reasons you do! My kid is a little younger, and we have one on the way, but I despise the sippy cup!
I follow on FB as well!
I’d love to have these cups as I have 5 children and I have been realizing lately just how much disgusting crud builds up in the straws and valves of sippy cups!! My almost 3 yr old would especially love these!
I’ve been looking for a good alternative to plastic, but our glass cups are too big for my 3 yr old.
I follow on FB.
Don’t use plastic any more and always feel nervous with my little one using glass. These look PERFECT!

Looking to replace plastic cups!
Would love a set of these – I just started letting my 3 year old and 6 year old use my small glass cups. But I am so afraid of one breaking! It would be great for them to have their own set!!

I’m ready to upgrade too. My kids like to still use sippy cups but if they had glass cups, I think they’d happily say goodbye to the sippy cups. The cheap plastic cups I use for them cannot be good for them.
I’m also trying to phase out sippy cups – they’re such a pain to wash!
I already follow you on facebook, Thanks again!
