I just reviewed The Fresh 20 website for the first time and found it very interesting. With long work weeks it has been a challenge to even think about making healthy choices but after reading the blog and reviewing this website, there is hope.

  • Melissa

My husband and I are newly weds coming up on a one year anniversary – we are also teachers! As we are both healthy eaters and individuals we are always looking for ways to improve our eating and food. The Fresh 20 would be a great help to our busy school lives!

  • Jenn

My family loves having me cook for them, but often when I ask what they’d like for dinner they respond with “I don’t know”. I get tired of having to come up with all the ideas and cook the meals. This would be fabulous!

  • Stephanie DiStasio

The site sounds like the perfect way to maintain balance for a working family, I love the idea of using in season items and purposeful shopping at the farmers market

  • Peggy

I would love to get my husband interested in real food!

This sounds amazing to take the work out of meal planning with all the important things covered: healthy, affordable (5 meals with 20 items!), simple, and using what’s in season!

You and Fresh 20 both have great websites. Would love to change to a healthier, clean way to eating for my husband and I.

  • Lisa

With two small children, and the elder one about to start school, I now have to pack lunches and snacks, so the Fresh 20 and the 100 days of real food sound like great resources. Plus, does anyone else notice a behavioural change in their kids when they eat processed foods?

    • Lisa,
Studies have shown that getting kids on a lean, unprocessed diet helps them in school, with sports and often with hyper behavior. In recent years, there have been a number of studies on autistic children to monitor the effects of food. Amazing results for some children. So much so that many pediatricians are treating some of the symptoms of autism with diet. Eating right is so important for our kids. Adults, too : )

  • Hayley Cline

My husband and I are trying to eat healthier before our daughter (7 months) starts eating with us! We are way too guilty of our tendencies to use boxed dinners or fast food.

  • Kristan Draney

I love to cook but hate to figure out what to cook! With six kids who has time!I believe very strongly in the affect of diet on our total well being but sometimes you can’t pass up fast and easy.

    • Kristan,
Stir fry is fast and easy and can be made with fresh food. My husband and I did a challenge once to see what was faster, a trip through taco bell or a pan of chicken stir fry. I beat him by 7 minutes ; )

  • AMT Mommy

I love this idea! I am always looking through magazines for new meal ideas, but end up with odds and ends and it feels like so much waste! This is the perfect solution. I can’t wait to try it out on my husband and two kids! crossing fingers, hoping I win!

I love ‘real food cooking’. I am always on the look out to keep meal planning for a family of 4 soon to be 5 as fresh, healthy and simple as possible. The Fresh 20 would be wonderful and such a time saver. What a solution and opportunity! Thank you.

  • Rebekah

I love cooking “real” wholesome food but often find myself doing the same meals and lacking variety. As a new-ish mom ( my daughter is 16 months), I would love to turn my brain off and have it be suggested to me what I should cook. The Fresh 20 would take the guess work and repetition out of meal time and add some much needed variety!!

  • Corene

The hardest part about cooking each day is coming up with what to make next. This would be a fabulous help!

  • Stormy

I’m a stay at home mother to 2 kids myself and I’m just now starting to remove all the unnecessary additives and chemicals in their diet. I would love to have something easy for me to use to plan out my weekly dinners.

  • Brad Durham

My wife and I have 6 children which totals 8 people in our house. As you can imagine it is kiotic at times in our household. We are always telling ourselves we want to get on a more healthier food program, but little funds and not alot of planning time. With that being said this would be outstanding for us and will help us get a jump start on a more healthier eating life style.

  • Ursula

I just started looking into feeding my family more “real foods”, my daughter has food allergies which her allergist said were due to genetics. I do not buy that, NO ONE in my family has food allergies. I may sound crazy but I feel that perhaps all of the processed junk that we eat is causing changes to our bodies. I would love a chance to get some Real recipes. I am a stay at home mom so budget is limited and I am sort of struggling with what to make everyday to eat and still avoid processed foods.
ps. I love your blog, I am having so much fun swimming through everything, you are really making a difference.

  • Kelli Mano

I had a miscarriage a little over a month ago and started to really look at how I was treating my body. I decided then to make a huge life change and stick with mostly organic foods. I’ve lost 15 pounds since then and feel so much better. I want to feed my family the healthiest meals I can and the fresh 20 can help me achieve that!

  • Angela

Trying to change 4 children from processed to organic foods. I don’t even know where to start so I turned to you! Pick me Pick me

  • Erin Patota

Eating well can require some extra time and planning. Being a busy, homeschooling mom of 3 young ones, It would be great to have a little help in the meal planning department. I love this idea!
