Oh, I’ve been wishing we had a dehydrator so this would be amazing! On the top of my list of things I’d use it for is to make crispy nuts (soak first then dehydrate), sundried tomatoes, dried fruits, and gluten-free crackers! Yum!
My kids love jerky and fruit leather–this would be just the beginning of how I’d use the dehydrator! I’d love to try sprouting nuts/grains and drying them for use with this. I’ve been eyeing this machine.
I would love to have this dehydrator to make my own dried fruit and jerky. My parents had one growing up and I loved making things in it. I think having your child pick out a fruit to dehydrate makes it fun and interesting for them to try new things and healthier options out there.
I would love this machine for the reason that you stated…it is hard to find yummy dried fruit, etc that does not have sugar in it!

I’d love to win one of these because right now my boyfriend and I are both trying hard to lose weight. One of the biggest challenges we’ve been having is finding healthy snacks that we both like that are tasty and not full of fillers and sodium. With this I could make us snacks for him to take to work that I can control. I know exactly what we’re eating and hopefully get the protein and nutrition we need to keep losing weight.
Oh, I could also make healthy dog treats (jerky) for our dogs. My dog is allergic to so many different things and finding affordable treats that don’t have a ton of byproducts in them isn’t easy.
