Thank you!!! this make it so easy to find everything. I love all the recipes that you share!
Awesome! This will make searching your site so much easier. Thanks
I love this page. I had bookmarked the resources page for quick finds of my favorites, but this is much easier to navigate.
I was reading some place about a graham cracker recipe. Was that one ever put on your website? I would love that one.. Thanks for all your hard work, thoughts, insights and recipes!!
I think it was in a comment somewhere…haven’t tried it yet myself!
I wish you had a print button for the recipes.
I do have one on newer recipes…it would have to be manually added to all older recipes, which will hopefully happen at some point.
Have you or any of your posters tried to make their own mayonnaise? I have seen several recipes, but have not tried it yet. Or is there a healthy mayo on the market that I am missing? We already make our own peanut butter, almonds and hummus, would like to NOT have to make mayo.
I don’t have a mayo recipe at this point…most of the “good” ones call for raw eggs, and I can’t find any “real” mayo at the store so we buy the best we can and eat it sparingly.
Hi Lisa! I love your recipes…they are so good! I haven’t made one yet that I didn’t love
Do you have a recipe for homemade yogurt? I have seen different recipes on Pinterest and other blogs, but I was wondering if you had tried to make it. We eat a lot of yogurt and would love to make it homemade. Thanks! -Lindsay
We have not tried making yogurt yet…one day!
I make yogurt and it’s super easy. A cup of greek plain yogurt, a half gallon of milk – mix and hold between 100-110′F for 24 hours (never getting over 110 or its ruined so I usually stick to around 100 just to be safe). I add a cup of honey and 2 T vanilla to the whole batch while warm and divide into jelly jars. Some of my kids add frozen or fresh fruit to theirs as well. It’s great warm in the winter, which I know sounds weird but it is! I make mine in my toaster oven, my cousin in her dyhydrator… no extra applicance needed as long as it’s something that holds a low temperature. Good luck!
Hello
I just found your blog on Monday (today is Friday) and I’ve already made a bunch of recipe – granola, banana bread, refried beans, WW chocolate chip cookies and I think one or two other things. I also made a girlfriend miss her bus stop because she was reading the blog (I told her about it). Let’s just say, I’ve been reading and cooking lots this week!
Just wondering, my kids LOVE ketchup for dipping. I HATE the sugar content. I have found a low sodium ketchup made by President’s Choice (I’m in Canada) but am wondering if you’ve found a low(er) sugar content one OR if you make your own…and if you do…where might I find the recipe? If you don’t… well, can I put this out there as a challenge then?
Thanks so much and keep it up….love it all! Slowly moving my family to whole foods. I also just ran out of white flour and refuse to buy more! If you ever want a kick butt WW, multi seed bread recipe – I’ve perfected one (due to allergies I have to bake all the bread/buns we eat – for a family of 6!).
OK – sorry this got long…but do keep it up!
Thanks for your comment! Regarding ketchup…it just can’t be done without a sweetener so I don’t go through all the effort of making it myself, but instead just buy an organic store-bought version and use it in great moderation. Bummer…I know!
Regarding sugary ketchup, I have heard from many people who have traveled to Europe or lived there that the ketchup over there is very different from ours, that it has a much higher vinegar content and isn’t sweet at all. That my be something to look into if you can order it online.
I just wanted to say I love your website!! I use it all the time and have tried many of your recipes. I saw on the cooking show the other day they made “icing” by draining yogurt overnight so it was thick and then added honey to sweeten and lemon zest and iced a carrot cake with it (just before serving). Just thought this might interest you.
I just came across this page today. Thank you so much! This is just what I need – a listing of your recipes all in one place. I’ve tried so many and love them.
I noticed some of your recipes call for juice. What kind of juice do you buy? New to this, love your blog.
I buy organic 1-ingredient juice…usually the store-brand (Earth Fare).
[...] lately, I get the majority of my recipes from Skinnytaste.com and 100daysofrealfood.com. I love both of these because the ingredients aren’t outlandish, and they are doable for [...]
I am totally addicted to your blog and have added a bunch of your recipes into our diet. However, our almost 2 year old is totally addicted to cereal bars! Do you have a recipe for a “real” cereal bar. Thanks.
The closest thing would be these granola bars: http://www.100daysofrealfood.com/2010/04/04/recipe-granola-bars-cereal/
CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE THE JELLY RECIPE I SAW NOT TOO LONG AGO WAS….ONE WITHOUT ALL THE SUGAR IN IT…FRUIT SPREAD….I USUALLY BUY MINE AT TRADER JOES THINKING IT WAS GOOD TILL I SAW THE 2ND INGREDIENT CORN SURYP!!!
I recently posted a recipe on facebook from the $5 dinner mom…maybe this is what you are looking for? http://www.5dollardinners.com/2011/06/no-sugar-strawberry-freezer-jam.html
