LÄRABAR – A Bar That’s Real Food (+ a giveaway!)

This contest is now closed. In a few days the winners will be emailed directly.

Last year we unearthed a number of bars that were touting healthy ingredients but were instead actually chock full of extra unhealthy ingredients. We also talked about one bar that has long been a favorite of ours: LÄRABAR.

It’s easy to see why I’m a fan of LÄRABARS. With most of their flavors weighing in with fewer than five ingredients, all of which are natural and things I would cook with at home, it’s a snack I feel good about giving my family. I also love that they have numerous flavors to keep things interesting. I’m not going to lie …my daughters love the ones with chocolate!

LÄRABAR - A Bar That's Real Food (+ a giveaway!) on 100 Days of Real Food

LÄRABAR recently conducted a survey in which they found that nearly 3 in 4 consumers (72% to be exact) believe there is a difference between packaged food and real food. However, the majority also believe that the primary LÄRABAR ingredients, fruits (90%) and nuts (78%), are real food. LÄRABAR founder Lara Merriken established the company on the idea that real food should be accessible to all. LÄRABAR is blended from simple ingredients like unsweetened fruits, nuts and spices 100% real, and minimally processed. And I am so happy that they are available since real food in a package is certainly convenient on occasion!

Whether you’re already a fan or haven’t tried one yet, this giveaway is a great way to stock up for a while!

  1. Cherry Pie, hands down! On my first try, had to read the label a couple of times; couldn’t believe this tasty treat, had only three ingredients!

  2. We love Chocolate chip cookie dough, lemon, and peanut butter cookie. My mouth is salivating just thinking of them!

  3. Ooh, I’d love to try the Coconut Macaroon Uber bar, but have a hard time veering from Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip and Cashew Cookie.

  4. I have just ordered variety pack from Amazon … looking forward to Carrot Cake. I need something healthy for breakfast for a picky eater.

  5. Love any peanut butter bars but want to try Key Lime Pie! This is the only energy bar I buy because it is ok on my REAL food diet!

  6. Hi- I know I’m too late for the contest, but I’m just catching up on emails and read this. I just wanted to comment that I’ve never seen the Pecan Pie Bars in any of the stores I shop at. Please bring them to Middletown, Connecticut :)
