I’ve been doing some spring cleaning at my house, and my recent BIG pantry makeover inspired us to have a fun contest where you could get in on the action. So today I am picking a winner and also sharing some of the other great before and after pics that were submitted!
And the winner doesn’t just get to feel good about a job well done, they’re also going to receive…
- $300 worth of products from our lovely sponsor, Nuts.com – woohoo!
It was so hard to pick just one winner though – you guys did some amazing clean out jobs! The judging was based on organization only (a pantry full of real food was not a requirement).
Pantry Makeover Winner!
Submitted by: Korrin R.
A big congrats to Korrin! She is going to get to pick out $300 of whatever she wants from Nuts.com, a fabulous resource for raw nuts and seeds or whatever else your heart desires, for being our favorite beautifully organized pantry. I have to say though, it was a really tough call for me between yours and one other submission, but my husband leaned over my shoulder and said, “But look at this one, she’s got turntables and bins and canned good organizers.” So, I guess if for nothing else, showing us all the different ways one can stay organized in a real food pantry was for the win! It also looks like she was able to find more space in her kitchen to help get things extra neat and tidy – way to go Korrin.
(Oh and I promise this did NOT sway my vote, but I gotta love her choice of cookbooks too – haha). :)
Our Other Pantry Makeover Favorites!
Submitted by: Ashley A.
I’ve gotta say Ashley has done a lot in a tight space. Just goes to show you don’t need a walk-in pantry to stay organized!
Submitted by: Joy E.
I love how this pantry is not too deep and Joy was able to find the perfect sized bins so nothing is hiding behind something else. Also, it’s hard not to love those large and easy-to-read labels. There is no excuse for not keeping this pantry organized!
Submitted by: Ginny J.
I like how it doesn’t look like Ginny had to make a big investment to clean things up. A few plastic bins that are easy to reach into is all it took … plus some TLC, of course!
Submitted by: Laura F.
Here’s another great example of a super organized (and pretty spacious) cabinet pantry. It looks like Laura really went to town on her clean out job because her pantry looks like it has half the stuff it did before! I love the baskets for this deep cabinet so you can easily slide them out to see what’s in the back.
Submitted by: Taryn W.
Taryn’s pantry honestly wasn’t SO bad before, but it’s hard to get over how incredibly neat and tidy it is now. I love the stair step spice rack and cute little round baskets mixed in with some new jars. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a functional pantry that’s also really pretty to look at!
Submitted by: Thuy N.
This organize pantry didn’t really knock my socks off until I saw the before … I mean wow, what a transformation! There was stuff falling all over the place before Thuy went out and got some jars and really just gave everything a home. If I was also giving out a “most improved” award this would be it!

This pantry redo looks like it went through a minor renovation. I think this drives home the fact that (if you have the resources) you don’t necessarily have to stick with the existing shelving in your pantry if it simply doesn’t work. I love how Janice added a countertop (I wish I would’ve had room to do that in my own pantry!) and then used that opportunity to put shallow shelves above, which I personally think can be easier to keep organized.
All around amazing job with all the pantry makeover submissions – I am impressed! Thank you to all those who submitted entries and again to our sponsor Nuts.com for supplying the amazing grand prize! If you weren’t already inspired to clean out your pantry, I sure hope you are now. I’d love to hear your thoughts on your favorite entries (and why) in the comments. :)
