I think this might be a dangerous new recipe to have on hand because these whole-wheat madeleines are so good and so easy! We shared some with a good friend, and she couldn’t believe they’d been made with whole-wheat flour because they were so light and tasty.
Just in time for the Super Bowl, I’ve got an easy and tasty appetizer recipe for you! This Breaded Shrimp doesn’t have to be for adults only, though. My kids used to always turn their noses up at shrimp until I made this recipe for them.
This Blueberry Lemon Bundt Cake didn’t last long. I had it sitting on a cake plate on the counter for a dinner with friends, and it was amazing how many people immediately said, “Oh, that looks good.” And thankfully it lived up to their expectations.
This recipe for Easy Couscous Stuffed Tomatoes is such a great way to close out summer! I served it along with The Best Whole Chicken in the Crock Pot and a simple spinach salad, and it turned out to be a super quick and easy weeknight meal. Enjoy :)
Summer is a great time to experiment with different fruits and veggies because there are so many in season. They are great to have by themselves as a snack, but sometimes it is fun to add a little of this or a little of that and come up with a yummy fruit or veggie creation.
I am in love with this new muffin recipe! It’s soooo good I think I want one with frosting on top for my birthday (which is not until May, but a girl can plan ahead)! The raspberries and lemon compliment each other so well, and it’s such a nice diversion from the usual muffin flavors. I hope your kids gobble up these lemon raspberry muffins like mine did. I’d love to hear what they think in the comments below. :)
If you’re looking for an impressive yet easy romantic dinner then here’s your answer. This is the perfect Valentine’s Day “stay in and cook something special” dish for the adults of the family. I tried this dish on my kids and they were not fans at all (and they also kept calling everything by the wrong name, too…clams instead of scallops, lettuce instead of arugula, and grits instead of polenta). So they definitely proved their point that this upscale meal should be left to the enjoyment of adults only, at least in our house. And I don’t know about you, but we certainly don’t mind a quiet evening alone every now and then! Plus this is not one of those fancy dishes that will have you in the kitchen cooking and cleaning all night long either, so get ready to enjoy.
