We sure do love cinnamon rolls (who doesn’t?). But the way they’re typically made (i.e. FULL of sugar!) they resemble dessert much more than breakfast…

I’ve got a yummy little snack to have on hand while you’ve got guests in town (or will be traveling) this week … Maple Pecan Bars! These won’t last long.
Chocolate pudding used to be a regular thing for me as a kid and also for my kids before we cut out all highly processed food. This recipe for Homemade Chocolate Pudding only takes 5 minutes to make, and it’s a treat that’s definitely worth it!
I’m always on the lookout for solid protein sources. As a mom, I also value recipes that pack a nutritional punch and that my kids get excited about. This recipe for Breakfast Cookies checks all of those boxes and, bonus, it’s super easy to make!
I think this might be a dangerous new recipe to have on hand because these whole-wheat madeleines are so good and so easy! We shared some with a good friend, and she couldn’t believe they’d been made with whole-wheat flour because they were so light and tasty.
I’m excited to share this recipe for Chocolate Chip Blondies, which is what I made for holiday cookie exchange parties this year.
I have a super fun summer party idea for you …Backyard Movie Night with a DIY S’mores Bar!
It’s time to have fun with real food for the upcoming holiday weekend! This cute little idea would be great for Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, or just any old time you’re feeling patriotic. :)
I’m doing something a little different today and posting one of our favorite recipes from my cookbook! It’s perfect for the warmer weather we’re having.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, I’ve got the perfect homemade treat for you (and the one you love)! These Peanut Butter Brownie Bars would also make a fun little treat to share with teachers and neighbors in honor of the upcoming “day of love,” especially if you’re me and you’ve made this recipe three times in the last week in order to get it just right.
Every now and then we break the rules with a special homemade treat like this one that I’m sharing today. That’s because it’s unrealistic to think you’ll never indulge in a sweet treat again (oh, the horror!), and I fully recognize that when there is a special occasion, the homemade from scratch version (even with sugar and a little white flour) is far better than the store bought variety. So on that note, I present to you…Homemade Ice Cream Cake!
