This easy "sandwich" packs great in school lunches and can be customized to your kids' liking!

Apple (of course!) Nut or seed butter  Large knife Small table knife Cutting board Small round cookie cutter Optional: Raisins, lemon, toothpicks

Supplies

1. Slice the apple

Cut off the top and bottom of the apple. Cut the remaining apple into 4 even, thin slices.

2. Cut the core

Cut out the core with a small round cookie cutter.  You can also use a table knife to carefully make a circle.

3. Add nut butter

Add some nut or seed butter to one side. Add any additional toppings, like raisins, if you wish.

4. Top it off

Put on the top of the sandwich.  You can secure it with toothpicks if you desire.

5. Keep from browning

Squirt a little bit of lemon to keep the apple from browning. Mix with a little water to make it taste less "lemony".
