Perfect for family taco night
Nothing compares to homemade tortillas, and this whole-wheat recipe is a family favorite!
Whole-wheat flour Avocado oil Salt Water
1. Make the dough
Combine ingredients and mix in a heavy duty mixer with a dough hook. Divide dough into 12 equal pieces.
2. Form and let dough sit
Roll each piece into a ball and flatten it out into a puck on a baking tray or cutting board. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest at room temperature for at least 15 minutes.
3. Flatten and cook
Use a rolling pin to flatten each puck into an 8-10 inch circle. Transfer each tortilla to a greased pan and cook until puffy and slightly brown.
