Ingredients
1Elderberry syrup DIY kitcomes as a juice concentrate (there are two versions—Cough and Cold Formula, and Immune Support)
2cupscups of wateradd more if needed to yield 2 cups in the end result
½cupraw honeycan sub maple syrup or organic sugar
Instructions
Place the contents of the juice concentrate and 2 cups of water in a pot and bring to a boil. Boil for 10 – 15 minutes, then remove from heat and let it sit for 20 – 30 minutes.
Strain, and add ½ cup raw honey and additional water, if needed, to make 2 cups.
Carefully pour the syrup into a glass container and take at the first sign of illness.
