Instant Pot Brown Rice
This Instant Pot brown rice recipe is quick, easy, and foolproof. It produces perfectly soft and fluffy brown rice. This is the quickest and easiest way to make rice. Great for Mexican rice bowls, burritos, tacos, salads, and more!

Ingredients

long grain brown rice
1

water
Instructions
First, rinse the brown rice in a strainer.
Add rice and water to Instant Pot or pressure cooker.
Stir to combine.
Seal the lid of the pot. Select high pressure. Set the timer to 15 minutes.
Once the timer goes off, allow pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes.
Then, carefully move the top valve to venting. Finally, release any remaining pressure manually. Serve Instant Pot brown rice.
Notes
After many times testing this recipe, this is the method that works best.
Be very careful moving the top vent. It becomes very hot.
For more flavor, replace water with chicken broth.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
