Thoroughly rinse peanuts and then place in the bottom of the slow cooker. Fill with water about three-quarters of the way to the top. The peanuts will float at this point.
Sprinkle the salt and other seasonings on top. Turn slow cooker to high and cook for 6 to 7 hours, stirring occasionally to mix in the floating peanuts on the top.
Drain and serve warm or refrigerate for up to 4 or 5 days. Great to have on hand for hungry house guests!
