For a new spin on "milk and cereal" try this Strawberry and Kale Smoothie Bowl. It's the perfect way to start the day now that strawberries are in season!
Blend kale, strawberries, and bananas until smooth.
Toast the oats and coconut in a dry skillet over medium-low heat until the coconut begins to turn golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes.
Divide the smoothie into bowls, top with the oats and coconut, and serve with spoons.
Notes
If you use frozen strawberries you may want to increase the milk quantity to 1 ½ cups as more liquid will be needed. And feel free to choose whatever variety you'd like; we used whole milk but you could also sub almond milk.We recommend organic ingredients when feasible.Nutrition Facts
