Yet another tasty, healthy, flexible, and easy recipe to add to your files (no expensive juicer required)! These smoothies are a great addition to any breakfast or lunch, and leftovers stored in the fridge are surprisingly good the next day. You won't even taste the spinach after it's blended up with strawberries and bananas!
1cupberriesfresh or frozen (we have also tried 2 oranges, peeled)
2bananasor honey (1-2 tablespoons)
2tablespoonsmilk
½cupspinachfresh (I also tried adding some leftover broccoli instead of the spinach. My husband said I took things a little too far, but the kids still sucked it down!)
iceoptional (use if doing fresh berries instead of frozen)
Instructions
Combine all ingredients into blender and blend. Pour into cups and garnish with fruit or use fun straws to entice your kids!
