Duralex Glass Cups for Kids!

Since my oldest daughter is entering 1st grade this fall I’ve decided it’s time to do away with all our sippy cups. Plus, I’ve been getting rid of plastic in other areas of our kitchen so it seemed like the right time to upgrade the kids’ items as well. I wasn’t quite ready to start letting our daughters use the “adult” glass cups though since we keep them in a cabinet they can’t reach, and they seem rather “breakable” anyway. So I was thrilled when I learned about these kid-friendly glass tumblers that are extremely durable and chip resistant. They are the perfect solution!

I put these stackable glass cups in a big drawer that my daughters can reach, and they LOVE getting out their own cups and filling them up with water all by themselves. My four-year-old is graduating from sippy cups a little early, but she is probably the most excited. The first night she used one I think she told me a dozen times that her cup was “breakable” just like mommy’s. And since the glass is durable and tempered I don’t worry too much about it actually breaking. Although I was sure to tell them if they did accidentally break a glass not to move an inch until I came to the rescue! So far these cups seem pretty kid-proof though.

My son loves "big boy glasses", and it would be wonderful knowing that if he drops them they wouldn't shatter!

I would love these! I also did away with plastic, so my kids have been using "breakable" glasses - this would be a great switch!

Not only do I want these glasses, but I NEED them! :) I am a mother of 2 young children plus one more on the way. With 2 kids under the age of 3, we go through many different types of cups in a week. Having a set of durable, GLASS, and kid friendly cups will make mealtime a FUN time at our house! Thanks!

These would be perfect for my son! It's hard to find cups for kids that aren't plastic and I want to expose him to as little as possible.

I am making the switch in my home from plastic also and this came about after having my son. I want to expose him to as little of it as possible and while doing that notice that almost ALL children's dishes are plastic! These glasses would be perfect!

Our little girl is nearly five months old--admittedly, a bit young for drinking out of a cup--but my husband and I have decided to forego sippy cups altogether, and have been looking for a durable, child-size alternative to our own glasses. I just learned about this brand, and it looks perfect. (Oh, she just woke up!)

I use pint jars that are used for canning purposes for my 2 year old. He's actually been using them since he was a year old and they're so sturdy and cheap! We've never broken one and they've been dropped plenty of times!

I'm ready to upgrade too. My kids like to still use sippy cups but if they had glass cups, I think they'd happily say goodbye to the sippy cups. The cheap plastic cups I use for them cannot be good for them.

I'd love to have these cups as I have 5 children and I have been realizing lately just how much disgusting crud builds up in the straws and valves of sippy cups!! My almost 3 yr old would especially love these!
