Beginner's Guide to Essential Oils

Many people swear by essential oils as home remedies and claim they help keep their kids out of the doctor's office. Though these claims are not backed by the FDA, it certainly sounds intriguing! So if you want to figure out how to incorporate them into your family's routine, here are some good ways to start.

Top 5 Oils

  1. Lavender
Lavender Population is known for being calming by reducing anxiety and acting as a stress reliever. It can also help with minor burns and reducing scarring and other skin issues including eczema and psoriasis.
    -
  2. Lemon
Lemon can be refreshing, energizing, and uplifting. It can also be added to your favorite household cleaner to help refresh and sanitize.
    -
  3. Peppermint
Peppermint is stimulating and can help enhance alertness and improve your energy. It can also relieve headaches, nausea, digestive problems, and congestion. Because of its menthol content, peppermint has a cooling effect which can also help reduce a fever and relieve pain.
    -
  4. Tea Tree
Tea Tree is often known for its ability to help combat acne and oily skin. You can also add a few drops to laundry to help keep things fresh.
    -
  5. Frankincense
Frankincense frereana is especially prized for its skin rejuvenating properties. It's great for wrinkles, scars, dry skin and damaged skin, and can help heal a wound or cut. It can also calm and relax your body and uplift your mood.

I would love to try the oils on my husband. He suffers from chronic back pain since he was 15. We've tried all kinds of expensive injections, treatments, physical therapy, pain management etc. We are a family in ministry with limited funds so this would be a real blessing!!

I would like to try essential oils first off bc I heard they work and everyone I know loves them. Also to help with my sons eczema and mine, fight migraines for my husband and calm my 2 and 4 year old before bed. The lemon would be amazing for cleaning and a fresh clean scent in my house!

I would love to try these oils. I have a couple oils but right now I can't afford to buy any to try until work picks up again. So if we win maybe we can finally get a handle on allergies and the constant risperatory infections that are flooding us.

I've used a few oils and have found them helpful, I believe they work in many situations but have not have the financial means to try more of them. I hate putting chemicals on my kids so I would love the opportunity to try more of them for the health of me and my sons.

I was introduced to essential oils last year and haven't looked back. I love natural medicine and have spent countless hours researching alternative medicine for a more healthy lifestyle. I would love to win this kit to experiment and try these oils- topically, enternally and by diffusing.

I have recently been reintroduced to the use of essential oils due to my incessant migraines and environmental allergies that NO over-the-counter med seemed to remedy. I tried a couple of drops of oils from a friend and COULD NOT BELEIVE how instantly they worked and provided me with relief. I was then on the hunt to learn more. I was a bit distressed as I am on a fixed income and the prices of some of the oils I had been introduced to, were just too much for me to afford.

I stumbled upon Plant Therapy's website and couldn't believe the AMAZING products at such affordable rates. What a great business model they have. I have been sharing information about PT since I found the website a couple weeks ago. I hope to be a lifelong PT user. Here's to your health!
