Since my oldest daughter is entering 1st grade this fall I’ve decided it’s time to do away with all our sippy cups. Plus, I’ve been getting rid of plastic in other areas of our kitchen so it seemed like the right time to upgrade the kids’ items as well. I wasn’t quite ready to start letting our daughters use the “adult” glass cups though since we keep them in a cabinet they can’t reach, and they seem rather “breakable” anyway. So I was thrilled when I learned about these kid-friendly glass tumblers that are extremely durable and chip resistant. They are the perfect solution!

I put these stackable glass cups in a big drawer that my daughters can reach, and they LOVE getting out their own cups and filling them up with water all by themselves. My four-year-old is graduating from sippy cups a little early, but she is probably the most excited. The first night she used one I think she told me a dozen times that her cup was “breakable” just like mommy’s. And since the glass is durable and tempered I don’t worry too much about it actually breaking. Although I was sure to tell them if they did accidentally break a glass not to move an inch until I came to the rescue! So far these cups seem pretty kid-proof though.

I would love these! My daughter is 2 and just learning to drink out of a cup without spilling everywhere.

We began using plastic sippy cups when my son was born, but he doesn't really like them. He would much rather drink from an open cup. I can't really find any that aren't terribly breakable, though. These would be perfect!!!

Love the fact that they are zero carbon and sustainable!!! My younger kids love to use "grown up" cups and these are functional and pretty!

These are perfect! I'd love them because it is SOOOO time for the "big girl" glasses at our house, and these are a gorgeous way to make that transition!

I follow on Facebook. I recently purged almost all of our plastic cups and haven't had the extra money to replace them. We have been drinking out of our mugs. With five children between the ages of 10 and three months, I could really put these cups to good use.

My toddler loves to grab out glasses now, so even though he's not using them quite yet, mom and dad would appreciate tougher glasses! Plus he'll be using them himself soon enough.

We would love to have these. Right now my almost 2 and 3 year old use 3-1/2 oz. candle votives from the craft section as drinking glasses (I wrote to Libbey, the glass company, to make sure they were food safe--and they are!!), but they aren't tempered so we have broken a few, and they're small so as L&L get bigger, we'll need to upgrade their glasses so they don't have to refill so often!! Thanks for offering!!

I would love to win these. My three year old has had good success with the small plastic cups and with glass coffee mugs and I am slowly phasing out all of our plastic and replacing it with glass. These would be perfect. We are working on weaning our two year old off of sippy cups too. Thanks for the chance. :)

We are going away from the sippy cups as well. I only make my girls use them in the car or when we are having Friday night pizza in the living room. I need more small cups for them. We have some put most of the girls cups are plastic and I would like to get away from that as well.

Oh My...these look amazing! I would love these not only because they are durable, but they are also a child size...so often, we use our plastic ones for our younger one because the others are just too big...awkward for him to hold, holds too much for him to drink, makes it easier for him to knock over, etc. I also LOVE that he would think they were just like ours!
Thanks for telling us about these!

I would like some glasses to use for my children to cut down on plastics in my kitchen and on chemicals used to manufacture plastic.

I would love these glasses for my three children. We have gotten rid of most of the plastic in our kitchen but we still use plastic cups for the kid's drinks. These would be a great replacement and the kids would love them!

I am trying to limit plastic, but the bigger kids are using large jars for drinking and they are just to big for our youngest daughter. :)
