There are millions of blogs out there so last month I asked my facebook fans what other “real food” blogs they follow (and possibly even write themselves). Some of these blogs aren’t solely about real food, but they’re obviously doing something right to be inspiring others. So without further ado…here’s the list! And feel free to share any others in the comments below.

You HAVE to add DianasaurDishes.com she cooks amazing healthy food from scratch on a tight budget and teaches free classes to people like me on how to cook real food from the food bank and save money on food. I never even knew I could afford real food until I took her class. this is a great list I'm excited to find more food bloggers to follow.

Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for including my site on your list!!! I am so honored! It really made my whole weekend! I am so excited about having new people to help get healthier and happier!!! Your blog here looks SO AMAZING -- I want to read it "cover to cover" so to speak!! Your girls are darling, and you look like such a nice family! Oh, and to add to your wonderful collection is an awesome dessert site: http://www.chocolatecoveredkatie.com She is a doll, super talented and creative!! I know you'll love it!
Amy@Make Me A Mary says
Amazing list! But I don't think it will be complete until you add http://thepoorganiclife.com. AMAZING site!!
Amy says
I as just thinking earlier this week that I wished there was something like this list! Thank you for posting!
Linda says
THIS IS SO WONDERFUL. I do so much searching on the web for my weekly meal plan lineup. I get frustrated by how many recipes are included in posts that have processed foods, unrefined sugar and other ingredients which the body does not appreciate. This list gives me so many great sites to visit and learn about. Thanks so much. Love what you do as a blogger but also a Mom.
Charles says
Great list! But I can't imagine The Healthy Foodie (thehealthyfoodie.net) not being on here. All her recipes are super healthy, most definitely "real food" and the recipes are delicious! She's like a real food wizard.
chelsey @ clean eating chelsey says
Thank you for adding me to your blogroll. I am honored, really!

Hands down:

Carrie Vitt is a master at cooking whole grain and truly from scratch. I've yet to make ONE yucky thing or me pretending it tastes good. Simply phenomenal.
Melinda @Organizing with a Side of Fabulous says
I'm a professional organizer, but do a series on my blog called "Food Geek Friday." It's about 95% real food recipes as well as cocktail recipes and the occasional rant on industrial food. http://www.fabulousorganization.wordpress.com.
Dave says
Another great whole food site I use a lot is Healing Cuisine (http://www.healingcuisinebyelise.com). Might be something you'd like? She also recommends cutting out the processed foods and gives tips on making the switch for the family. Good recipes too!
FreshStartRD (Melanie Zook, MA, RD, LDN) says
Thanks for including http://www.FreshStartNutrition.com in the list (I know there are SO many!), as well as for ALL you're doing to get the real food message out there!
Heidi @ Food Doodles says
Thank you for this! It's so nice to be able to add some new-to-me blogs to my reader :D
I post real food recipes on my blog - Food Doodles - with the occasional not-so-real food treats thrown in :)
The Poorganic Life says
That Laura Dickerman gal has to say those things because she is my sister. BUT if you want guilt-free real food advice and gentle nudging to give all your money away, The Poorganic Life might be worth checking out. ;)
Melissa says
Another vote for The Poorganic Life. Karine is not my sister, but a dear friend who writes a great blog!
Laura Dickerman says
An excellent site is thepoorganiclife.com - A refreshing and funny take on how to eat whole foods on a budget, and beautiful posts on giving. Plus, Katrina is hilarious and down to earth!
megan says
I agree with heavenly homemakers! soooo many great recipes!
Carol Milstein says
Another great blog, although she doesn't blog every day, is 365 Days of Kale (http://www.365daysofkale.com/ ) Diana Dyer is a nutritionist who decided to change her diet to real foods after three bouts of cancer. She writes about nutrition, her organic farm (she and her husband grow about 60 varieties of garlic which she sells at the local market), and has some fabulous recipes - the garlic sweet potato kale soup is to die for!

I write with my mom over at lmld.org. love finding replacement recipes for canned or boxed foods.

I post at http://lcrfood.blogspot.com/ about cooking for my toddler who has severe egg and nut allergies (and moderate allergies to most seeds). I try to use mostly real food, but if anyone has any experience with severe allergies or advice on eating well-balanced diets without eggs and nuts I would love the input!
