Ingredients & Substitutes

First, use ripe yellow bananas. Slice the banana into equally sized pieces.

Use all-natural creamy peanut butter. It should be made with only peanuts and salt. For a nut-free option, use sunflower seed butter.

We like using Enjoy Life chocolate chips for our desserts. Feel free to use your favorite type of chocolate chips.

Lastly, use coconut oil to help thin out the melted chocolate mixture. Coconut oil also helps the chocolate topping harden.

Taste & Texture

This chocolate banana bark is naturally sweet and delicious! The main flavors are banana, chocolate, and peanut butter. There are no surprises!

It is a little crunchy, creamy, and flavorful.

How to Make

Step 1

First, arrange the sliced bananas in one even layer on a parchment paper lined pan.

Step 2

Spread the creamy peanut butter on top. Place the pan in the freezer for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil for 30 seconds in the microwave. Stir until creamy.

Step 4

Once the peanut butter has mostly hardened, remove the pan from the freezer. Pour the melted chocolate on top. Smooth into an even layer. Return the pan to the freezer for 30 minutes, or until hardened.

Finally, break into pieces and serve!
