So if you want to figure out how to incorporate them into your family's routine, here are some good ways to start.

Top 5 Oils
- Lavender
Lavender Population is known for being calming by reducing anxiety and acting as a stress reliever. It can also help with minor burns and reducing scarring and other skin issues including eczema and psoriasis.
- - Lemon
Lemon can be refreshing, energizing, and uplifting. It can also be added to your favorite household cleaner to help refresh and sanitize.

I am always looking for natural ways to help my family be healthy and/or to get over their ailments quicker than over the counter or prescription medicine. I have just started looking into oils and am loving their scent but of course had to read blog upon blog to figure out that I didn't get the ones that could be ingested like I wanted in the first place. Cancer being in my family I certainly need to find more "natural" preventative and healing remedies. Thank you.

I would like to try out these essential oils to blend them and aid in reviving my underactive thyroid in addition to my regiment of supplements. I realize the seriousness of underactive thyroid, as well as the unwanted potential side effects from taking synthroid or something comparable (which I am desperately trying to avoid). I just ran across an article today suggesting use of essential oils so I thought perfect timing when I saw this contest in my inbox this afternoon. I would like to try them out... I have been on the verge of getting into trying essential oils to aid in stress reduction and zen but have not yet made the leap and investment.
