I've got three yummy marinades to share with you today ... perfect for grilling this summer! Whether you're in the mood for Italian, Asian, or Greek it's not only easier and tastier to make your own marinades, but it's better for you. Simply mix together the required ingredients and pour over your chicken or meat of choice. The Asian one is even great with seafood. Happy grilling to you!  Check out this Chicken Marinade also!

My 3 Favorite Marinades

I have three yummy marinades to share that are perfect for grilling this summer! It's tastier to make your own marinades, and it's better for you too.

Diet: Egg Free, Peanut/Tree Nut-Free

Servings: 3 cups of different marinades

Ingredients
  

Italian Marinade

  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Asian Marinade

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup cilantro (freshly chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons ginger (freshly peeled and minced)
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)

Greek Marinade

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 lemon (juiced)
  • ¼ cup parsley (just leaves, fresh)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons oregano (dried)
  • 1 teaspoon thyme (dried)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • pepper (to taste)

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients for desired marinade and pour over meat. Cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before grilling.

Notes

We recommend organic ingredients when feasible.

    can you recommend what meats/fish/poultry, etc to use for each? and how long to marinade?
