How to Make

Step 1

First, add the ground beef to a large skillet. Cook until brown and crumbly.

Drain all but one tablespoon of the grease in the pan.

Step 3

Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet. Sauté until they become soft and translucent.

Stir in the marinara sauce, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.

Simmer the sauce for about 15 minutes. Then, remove it from heat and set aside.

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 7

In a 9-inch by 13-inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom.

Place three cooked lasagna noodles on top of the sauce.

Add another layer of meat sauce, followed by a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

For the Meat Sauce:

  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)

  • Simmer the sauce for about 15 minutes. Then, remove it from heat and set aside.
